After 16 years as a RE/MAX agent, Colchester resident John Abry saw the need for a reasonably priced virtual tour service. “One of my frustrations in the real estate business has been that photography services are often fragmented and difficult to coordinate,” said Abry.
Seeing a need not only within the real estate community but in business and the general public as well, Abry formed Vermont Virtual Tours.
“I decided to create a service that covers all aspects of photography including virtual tours, still photography, video, and drone photography. Little did I know that a global pandemic would clarify the need for a virtual tour service as it allows anyone, anywhere to virtually walk through a home or business at their leisure without the worry of an infectious disease.”
Virtual tours are created by taking photos with a 360 camera and stitching them together to create a 3D view of an entire structure as if you were physically standing inside (or outside) and allows someone to virtually walk through a property, business, venue, (or whatever else you can think of) on a computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device.
