Park-McCullough House Assoc. appoints new museum director

Polly Raine

Polly Raine, interim operations manager at the Park-McCullough House Association since June, has been promoted to museum director of the organization. The 35-room Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion, set on 200 acres of grounds in North Bennington, is one of New England's finest, most significant and best-preserved Victorian mansions.

In her new position, Raine will oversee Park-McCullough's house museum and collections, educational offerings, communications and marketing strategy, membership program, and community relationships. She will also work with the board to develop a five-year strategic plan for the organization.

“Polly has begun to share the kind of thoughtful insights and inspiring ideas that create both enthusiasm and momentum,” said board president Kelly Clarke Harrington. “We can’t wait to see where the next year takes us. Her passion for the mission of our organization and for its place in the community will lead us in shaping the future of the Park-McCullough.”
