Opportunities Credit Union welcomes two to the board of directors

Opportunities Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Wood and Paul Goldman to their board of directors. Opportunities Credit Union is Vermont’s only community development credit union and its mission is to serve low and moderate income members with affordable access to financial services.

Nancy Wood is the owner/manager of Home, Farm, & Garden Research Associates that is currently focusing on alternative energy and agricultural policy. She is the Town Auditor for the town of Charlotte. Previously Nancy has owned a retails store, published a newspaper, been an elected state Representative, been a city councilor, and was the Executive Director of the Burlington Business Association.

Paul Goldman is the sole owner of Sison Broadcasting Company. After graduating from Syracuse University, Paul began his broadcasting career as an intern. He worked his way up from salesperson to General Manager of a single station that was part of James Broadcasting. Paul now owns the single station (95 Triple X) that was spun off from the parent company. Paul is active in community affairs serving on various boards and as an active mentor in local schools.
