The Institute of Professional Practice, Inc adds two new board members

The Institute of Professional Practice, Inc (IPPI) is proud to announce the appointment of Christopher G Bond Manchester, NH and Bob Sheil of Montpelier, Vermont to the agency's Board of Directors. "We are thrilled to welcome both Bob and Chris to the Board of Directors and grateful for their service,” said Lou Giramma, CEO of IPPI. “We are fortunate to add their unique expertise and passion for our mission of building strong communities by empowering individuals.”

Christopher Bond is an attorney in the Manchester, NH office of Primmer, Piper, Eggleston & Cramer, PC and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Employment practice groups. Following law school, Chris was a judicial law clerk for the Hon Christopher F Droney, United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut. After clerking, Chris practiced law in Stamford, Connecticut where he focused his practice on employment law. For the 12 years prior to joining Primmer in 2017, Chris served as General Counsel and Sr Vice President of Bond Auto Parts, Inc, a family-owned company that operated more than 45 locations across four states.

Bob Sheil graduated from Union College and Vermont Law School. He began his legal career as a Deputy State’s Attorney in Washington County, Vermont, and then spent six years in private practice specializing in juvenile and criminal law. For the following twenty-eight years, he was employed as the supervising attorney in the office of the Juvenile Defender, which is a division within the Office of the Defender General, the public defender system in Vermont. Since his retirement in January 2016, he has served on several non-profit boards including the Policy Council for the local Head Start program, the Washington County Youth Service Bureau and Voices for Vermont’s Children, as statewide advocacy organization for Vermont youth and their families. He also served on several state and national committees and councils and remains a member of the Children and Families Council for Prevention Programs, a governor appointed council. He is also the Northeast Regional Chair of the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, a national organization advocating on the federal level for juvenile justice issues.
