Eric Smith has been promoted to director of engineering at DominionTech
Computer Services. Eric has been with DominionTech since January
of 2010 and was initially hired as a network administrator. In this role, he
will be head the engineering team that provides on-site consulting at
various companies in Chittenden and Washington counties. He will also
manage the implementation of their long-term I.T. strategic plan.
Eric's experience in Information Technology (I.T.) is vast as his career
in this field began in 1992 in Boston, Ma. Before starting at
DominionTech, Eric owned his own I.T. company -- ENZES/Green Mountain
Networks for eight years - based out of Waterbury. He had also worked at
the Montpelier-based Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF) managing and
directing the organization's strategic technology plan.
Eric has lived in Vermont for 10 years after moving here from Boston. He
is originally from California and resides in Waterbury with his three
children.
