CVMC President and COO named Capstone Partner of the Year

CVMC President and Chief Operating Officer, Anna Tempesta-Noonan, RN, received the first annual Partner of the Year award from Capstone Community Action’s Executive Director, Sue Minter. The award was given to Noonan earlier this month for her continued service and commitment to improving the lives of central Vermont families.

Both Central Vermont Medical Center and Capstone are members of THRIVE, Central Vermont’s Accountable Community for Health. “We believe that healthcare is part of a continuum,” said Noonan, “and we can’t do what we do in our acute care setting, our practices, and our nursing home without the partnerships we have that are so rich in this community. We’re proud of our partnership with Capstone and the work they do to help support our patients, their families, and our staff.”

CVMC recently began workforce development to train Licensed Nursing Assistants, Clinical Care Associates, and a new LNA-to-LPN program. In all of these training programs, Capstone helped CVMC staff with financial and workplace coaching. Noonan continued, “Capstone’s support in our workforce development programs have given our employees the scaffolding needed to be successful. Thank you for this partnership.”
