Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice announces new staff appointments

Two professional staff members have recently been appointed to serve at Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice (CVHHH), says Sandy Rousse, President and CEO.

Rebecca Bowen, MBA, MHA, FHFMA, has been named Director of Human Resources. Bowen was Vice President Finance and Human Resources for Vermont Information Technology Leaders since 2009, and prior to this was executive director of Central Vermont Physician-Hospital Organization, Inc. since 2000.

Bowen is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, and a candidate for the Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Ms. Bowen earned a Master in Healthcare Administration and a Master in Business Administration from Georgia State University. A native of Atlanta, GA, she lives in Montpelier with her husband and two children.

Emily McKenna has been named Manager of Marketing. Most recently, McKenna worked as a Marketing Manager and Communications Specialist at Skillet Design & Marketing, a boutique marketing and design firm in Burlington.

McKenna has a decade of communications and marketing experience, including as an Interactive Marketing Manager, writer and magazine editor in the New York City metro area. She is originally from northern New Jersey and attended high school in St. Louis before graduating from Barnard College in New York. This is a newly designed position at CVHHH, which focuses entirely on Marketing and reflects CVHHH’s commitment to supporting its mission through a comprehensive Marketing function. Emily lives in Stowe with her husband and young son.
