Jordan Mitchell, co-director of operations, Town Meeting TV and digital archivist at CCTV, was named winner of the inaugural Bright Future Award by the Northeast region of the Alliance for Community Media, a nonprofit organization that advocates for and supports community media.
The award, which celebrates professionals who embrace leadership opportunities and advance community media at the local, state or national level, was presented at the alliance's 2025 summit, held Dec. 8 in Northampton, Massachusetts.
In her position at CCTV, Mitchell oversees daily productions and guides the preservation of more than 40,000 analog programs dating back to the 1980s. Her work focuses on producing high-quality, culturally inclusive content and ensuring that Vermont’s local history remains accessible for future generations.
