Berkshire Bank, a purpose-driven community bank with locations primarily in New England and New York, announced the promotion of Carly Remington to First Vice President, Regional Branch Manager for the Capital New York and Vermont markets. Ms Remington joined the Bank in 2011 as Branch Manager and most recently was the Bank’s Area Retail Leader in Vermont where she oversaw five branches. Since 2020, she has also served as Co-Chair of the Power of Women (POW) Employee Resource Group within the Bank, which supports women in the workplace by providing a safe space for mentoring, coaching and celebration of women within the organization.
In her expanded role, Ms Remington will oversee all 24 branches in the Capital New York and Vermont regions, where she will manage a team of 19 Branch Officers. She will be responsible for overall staff management, sales performance, customer experience and operational excellence. Ms Remington will report to Brian Sullivan, SVP, Retail Branch Banking.

Ms Remington, who joined Berkshire Bank in 2011, has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Most recently she served as Berkshire Bank’s Area Retail Leader in Vermont. Previously, Ms. Remington worked as a Store Manager for Wells Fargo Financial. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida Metropolitan University and serves as the Co-Chair of the Power of Women (POW) Employee Resource Group with Berkshire Bank.
