The Vermont Small Business Development Center has named Marketing and Communications Specialist Phyllis K. Ershowsky as the organization’s 2024 State Star.
The award, presented annually and recognized nationally, celebrates a member of the organization’s team who demonstrates exemplary performance, makes significant contributions to their networks and is deeply committed to the success of Vermont’s small businesses.
Ershowsky's primary responsibilities involve strategic planning, writing, scheduling and distributing press releases, announcements, blog articles and e-newsletters, and working closely with other team members on social media, web content related to organizational initiatives and events.
“Phyllis is a top-notch listener and communicator and has enabled VtSBDC to effectively tell our story,” State Director Linda Rossi said. “She is a wonderful representative for our organization and an incredible resource for our small-business clients.”
Ershowsky will be honored at America’s Small Business Development Center national conference in Atlanta in September.
