Vermont State Dental Society promotes Diane Dumas

The Vermont State Dental Society (VSDS) is pleased to announce that Diane Dumas of Williston has been promoted to manager of finance and events. She has been with VSDS for the past five years when she started as assistant to the executive director and expanded her responsibilities to bookkeeping and event planning for the Society. Her background in oral healthcare includes working as a dental assistant and accounting coordinator for 13 years at Vermont Endodontics in Williston.

“It’s a win-win to have Diane take on more responsibility with the VSDS,” said Vaughn Collins, executive director. “She enjoys supporting our membership and staff to help provide the highest quality dental services for all Vermonters and we are proud to have her on our team.”

The Vermont State Dental Society was established in 1877 and is the state’s professional association of dentists. The Dental Society works to:

• be the source of information on issues involving oral healthcare and its relation to the general public’s health and wellbeing;

• advocate for access to oral healthcare for all Vermonters;

• enhance the professional practice environment for its members; and

• foster collaboration among oral health stakeholders.
