Vermont Family Network (VFN) is pleased to welcome Jeff Morton as the organization’s Communications Director. Morton recently joined VFN and will oversee all aspects of communications for the non-profit organization that is based in Williston, Vermont.
Prior to joining VFN, Morton worked as Director of Communications at the Vermont Chamber of Commerce in Berlin where he oversaw communications for the statewide business organization and helped streamline information regarding its various divisions and partners. Prior to this, Morton was the Assignment Editor at WCAX-TV in Burlington.
“Jeff’s experience in communications and his knowledge of the media will be a great asset to Vermont Family Network,” said June Heston, President/CEO of Vermont Family Network. “His expertise will help elevate the organization’s presence across the state to bring increased awareness of VFN’s programs and services.”
VFN works with all children and families, with a focus on children with special needs to promote better health, education and well-being.
“I am thrilled to be working at Vermont Family Network with such a great group of people,” said Jeff Morton, Communications Director at Vermont Family Network. “This organization offers so many wonderful programs and services and I’m fortunate to be a part of that. I look forward to helping promote Vermont Family Network and communicating all that VFN does.” Since July 2008, Vermont Family Network is the merged organization of Vermont Parent Information Center (VPIC) and Parent to Parent of Vermont.
