SunCommon welcomes UVM business school adviser as public benefit officer

SunCommon, a Waterbury-based solar energy company dedicated to creating a sustainable future, has appointed John Kim, graduate programs career adviser and adjunct faculty member at the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business, as its public benefit officer. In his new role, Kim will play a pivotal role in guiding SunCommon's reporting and strategic planning.

Prior to his appointment at the Grossman School, Kim was head of impact and strategy at 1Row, a boutique marketing and consulting firm focusing on purpose-driven startups, nonprofits and other ventures. He is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
