Rutland Regional Medical Center welcomes new physician Thusitha “T” Cotter, MD, Dr. Cotter is a physician at Rutland Women’s Healthcare. Dr. Cotter is looking forward to providing services for both new and current patients in all stages of life, from prenatal and pregnancy to menopause.
Dr. Cotter graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2000. Dr. Cotter completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. Dr. Cotter received a Caterpillar Faculty Scholars Fellowships at University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Cotter is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Cotter is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the North American Menopause Society, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Canadian Medical Association.

Dr. Cotter and her husband, Dr. John Gavin Cotter have five children and reside in Mendon.
