recently at the NAIFA-VT Annual State Conference which was held at the Sheraton, South Burlington. Established in 1971 in honor of past NAIFA-VT Chapter President, Bernard H. Zais, the award represents the highest recognition the Association can bestow on one of its members.
The award salutes the member who, over a period of time, has made distinguished and memorable contributions to society, to the community, and to the life insurance profession. Any member of the Association may make nominations; the recipient is chosen by committee.
The award reads: “For meritorious service and unselfish devotion to society and fellow-man and for the advancement of the highest ideals and principles of the profession of life underwriting through sales and the service of life and health insurance products.”
