Perrigo, a leading pharmaceutical supplier, announced today that Liton Roy has been hired as an analytical chemist for the method development group. In this role, Roy will develop analytical methods for new product lines as well as improve current methods for existing products.
Roy brings to Perrigo about two years of experience, having been trained to use tandem mass spectrometry to analyze biologically relevant samples. His duties at Perrigo will be an immediate extension of this training. Roy attended the University of Vermont where he earned a Ph.D. in Bio-Analytical Chemistry. Roy is from Calcutta, India and currently resides in Burlington.
