LandWorks has announce that their employee, Patrick Olstad, a licensed Landscape Architect, has earned the LEED AP accreditation, a national designation recognizing professionals that have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building techniques, the LEED Green Building Rating System and the certification process, and is administered by the Green Building Institute (GBCI). LEED addresses all building types and emphasizes state‐of‐the‐art strategies in five areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials and resources selection, and indoor environmental quality.
Patrick graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA and spent a year at the Agricultural University of Norway, NLH. As a licensed Landscape Architect with over 13 years of professional experience, he has designed and managed a wide range of project types, including urban design, institutional, and traditional neighborhood design. Some of Patrick’s current projects include the design for the renovation of the Middlebury Post Office Plaza (under construction), master planning for the day use area at Button Bay State Park, and serving as the lead consultant for the White River Junction Revitalization Plan.
