Karen Duguay joins Vermont Chamber as senior director of programming

Karen Duguay, former assistant director of the Addison County Economic Development Corp., has joined the Vermont Chamber of Commerce as senior director of programming. Duguay joins the chamber with a wealth of experience in marketing and communications, promoting economic health and resiliency for businesses, municipalities and nonprofits.

"Karen’s expertise in community and economic development will bring tremendous value to our organization," said President Amy Spear. "We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the innovative programs and initiatives she will develop."

Prior to her tenure at Addison County EDC, Duguay served for more than 10 years as executive director of the Better Middlebury Partnership. She was appointed to serve on the Vermont Travel and Recreation Council by Gov. Scott and helped lead the creation of the Vermont Downtown Coalition.
