For 25 years, the women of the Junior League of Champlain Valley (formerly Champlain Valley Junior Service League) have dedicated themselves to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving their community through the action of trained volunteers. They strive to improve the quality of life for children, women, and families at risk while providing a legacy of volunteers who endeavor to change their world for the better.
JLCV members volunteer for a number of projects including their signature project Camp Knock Knock. Now in its 15th year, Camp Knock Knock provides grieving families with a weekend of support and skills to find hope and healing after the loss of a loved one. JLCV is also known for their creative fundraisers: ICE, an ice skating show in which 200 Vermonters are showcased with Olympic skaters; and their “Beach Ball”, a beach themed gala evening.
