Erica Wygonik enhances RSG transportation expertise

Erica Wygonik recently re-joined RSG, bringing over fifteen years of experience in a wide range of transportation planning and engineering efforts—including traffic simulation, transportation planning, community outreach, and freight modeling. In her role as Senior Consultant at RSG, Dr. Wygonik will focus on freight transportation and modeling, transportation engineering, and campus and community planning.

Dr. Wygonik returns to RSG after earning her PhD in Transportation Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington. In her research, she worked to identify and facilitate use of the most efficient mode for a particular need across the entire transportation spectrum: bikes, cars, and trucks.

“It is extremely rewarding to have an accomplished staff member such as Erica choose to return to RSG after completing a successful doctorate program on the west coast. We have welcomed Erica back with open arms and look forward to her support in our Transportation Planning and Engineering practice,” RSG Director, David Saladino, said of Dr. Wygonik’s return to RSG.

In addition to her PhD, Dr. Wygonik holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science as well as a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dartmouth College. She is also a licensed Professional Engineer.

RSG creatively applies state-of-the-art modeling and analytics to transportation planning, market strategy, environmental management, and custom software development, helping organizations make critical decisions with confidence. RSG is a 100% employee-owned company headquartered in White River Junction, and an office in Burlington.
