Twenty-one Vermont-based attorneys from the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin have been selected for inclusion in the 2023 ranking of Best Lawyers in America.
Thirteen of the attorneys were recognized as "Best Lawyers": They are Andre D Bouffard, Kathleen H Davis, William J Dodge, Marc B Heath, Walter E Judge Jr., Peter B Kunin, Robert B Luce, Johan WE Maitland and David J Sylvester from the Burlington office; Timothy E Copeland from the Brattleboro office; and James G Wheeler, John H Marshall and James C Gallagher from the St Johnsbury office.
Four of the firm’s Burlington-based attorneys were recognized as “Lawyer of the Year.” They are directors R Prescott Jaunich (pictured), Paul H Ode Jr, Wm Roger Prescott and Christopher D Roy.
Four others from DRM's Vermont offices — Joshua D Leckey, Evan J O’Brien and Benjamin J Traverse of the Burlington office, and Shannon K Lenzini of the St Johnsbury office — were named to the “Ones to Watch” list.
