VHFA welcomes new senior finance and accounting analyst

The Vermont Housing Finance Agency has tapped Ewelina Kowalik for the newly created role of senior finance and accounting analyst. She joins the VHFA from Community Development Trust in New York City, where she served as senior accountant. In her new role, Kowalik will be involved in data analytics; bond and debt issuance; and associated compliance and reporting; and a wide range of agency accounting and budget functions.

Kowalik is an accountant by training and has 14 years of accounting and finance experience. She holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and information systems, and economics from Queens College in New York.

"We were delighted to find a candidate with strong accounting expertise as well as a background in affordable housing finance," said Executive Director Maura Collins. "Ewelina's experience and skills will be an asset to our finance team.”
