Vermont Tech announces Amanda Chaulk as director of marketing and communications

After a thorough search, Vermont Tech has announced the appointment of Amanda Chaulk as Director of Marketing and Communications at Vermont Tech. With extensive marketing experience, including higher education, Chaulk brings a holistic approach to the college’s marketing efforts. As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Chaulk will be in charge of the college’s strategic marketing plan, building upon Vermont Tech’s respected reputation as the state’s only college with a mission of applied education.

“We’re very excited to have Amanda join our team at Vermont Tech,” said President Dan Smith. “Her experience and attitude is an excellent addition to our strategic efforts to further the success of the college. Amanda is already developing exciting ideas and working with faculty and staff to help the college’s marketing efforts. We look forward to her continued contributions.”

Prior to her employment at Vermont Tech, Chaulk was the Senior Marketing Specialist at the Continuing and Distance Education Division of the University of Vermont where she was responsible for market research to inform program and audience development, as well as the marketing of their online and national programs. Additionally, Chaulk has held project management positions and marketing positions in the architecture and construction industry.

Chaulk graduated from Lawrence Technological University in southeast Michigan in 1994 and continued her education at UVM, obtaining a Professional Certificate in Leadership and Management.
