Vermont Mutual Insurance Group adds two new board members

Mari McClure (left), president and CEO of Green Mountain Power, and Theresa Alberghini DiPalma, former senior vice president for marketing and external relations at the University of Vermont Health Network, have been elected to the board of directors at Vermont Mutual Insurance Group, a top 50 property and casualty insurer in the US.

“Both Mari and Theresa have enjoyed much success in their careers and will be very welcome additions to the board as they partner with the management team to move Vermont Mutual forward and contribute to the company's continued success,” said Dan Bridge, Vermont Mutual’s board chairman, president and CEO.

McClure has enjoyed a distinguished career at Green Mountain Power and, before that, at Vermont's largest law firm, Downs Rachlin Martin. She has also served as chair of Governor Phil Scott’s Pandemic Employer and Technical Support Team.

Alberghini DiPalma had an outstanding 25-year career in government and the nonprofit sector, focusing on health care policy, regulation and management. Prior to her position at UVM Health Network, she served as a senior adviser to then US Senator Patrick Leahy.
