PT360 welcomes new owner Lisa Tidman, PTA

Lisa Tidman, PTA, joined the physical therapy team at PT360’s Williston location on Industrial Avenue 2 ½ years ago. Tidman is the first employee to transition to ownership since PT360’s inception in July, 2010. She joins the eleven founding owners in this uniquely structured employee-owned physical therapy cooperative.

Tidman is a graduate of Massasoit Community College, where she earned her associates degree as a physical therapist assistant. She has 18 years experience in hospital, nursing home, and various outpatient settings. Tidman is a yoga instructor and integrates yoga into her treatment programs. Her specialties include Myofascial Release and Cranio- sacral Therapy, and she is also a certified personal trainer.

PT360 is the only employee-owned physical therapy cooperative in Vermont, and one of only a handful in the U.S. “We investigated many business models and chose the co-op model because we can all share in the rewards as well as the risks,” says President and Founding Co Owner Mary Steiger, PT. “All of the owners at PT360 have worked with one another throughout our careers, for hospitals, privately owned PT practices in addition to corporately owned practices. We came together because we wanted to deliver services differently and have more community involvement. Everyone who works here has the opportunity to become an owner. All owners have one share have and one vote. It also is a very sustainable business model.”

Since its inception in 2010, PT360 has expanded to a total of three locations: Shelburne, Burlington, and Williston.
