Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company announced recently the addition of Neville McNaughton to the Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company Board of Directors.
Neville McNaughton joins the Board of Vermont Farmstead Cheese with over 40 years of experience in the cheese industry. From working for a New Zealand Cheese Cooperative, to co-founding Kapati Cheese in New Zealand to his current position as owner and president of CheezSorce, Neville provides cheesemakers across the country with direction on cheesemaking, food safety, plant design and aging facilities, custom equipment and products, sanitary heating and cooling design.
As a master cheesemaker and technical judge, Neville has consulted with many customers throughout the US and Canada. CheezSorce is proud of the long list of significant achievers at cheese judging contests like the American Cheese Society (ACS) Conference, US Championship, and other competitions in Canada and abroad. Neville serves on the Board of Directors for ACS in the US and writes articles for the Cheese Reporter and Deli Magazine. Neville also teaches cheesemaking workshops throughout the US and is a member of Slow Food International.
