National Life Group has appointed financial services veteran Joseph Tavernite as general agent. Tavernite joins the Long Island, New York, agency from Northwestern Mutual, where he served as managing director.
Prior to his tenure at Northwestern Mutual, Tavernite held senior positions at Principal Financial Group, New England Wealth Strategies and Penn Mutual. He holds the chartered leadership fellow designation in finance from The American College of Financial Services.
