Marie Thresher, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Merchants Bank, announces Jonathan Watson has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Watson has over ten years of banking experience, primarily in internal audit and risk advisory services. He is a University of Vermont graduate and has earned the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS) designations.
