Mack Molding team grows as demand for services increases

Mack Molding has hired several new engineering and business professionals to meet the strong demand for the Arlington-based company's plastic injection molding and contract manufacturing services. All are based at Mack's Arlington, VT, headquarters, unless otherwise noted. New hires include:

  • Mat Degan, former assistant vice president at Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston, as corporate risk manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in English and political science from the University of Vermont.
  • Heath Murphy, former senior manager of quality and production resources at Kaman Composites in Bennington, VT, as quality assurance manager. He holds an associate of science degree in mechanical engineering from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY.
  • Tim McCart, former multimedia advertising executive at Hemmings in Bennington, VT, as account manager.
  • Anthony Thompson, former technical service and strategic delivery manager at Tymetal in Greenwich, NY, as program manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in operations management and project management from Southern New Hampshire University.
  • Dan Bradford, former materials manager at Virginia Transformer in Pocatello, ID, as materials manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business supply chain management from Brigham Young University.
  • Andy Romack, former manufacturing engineer at Mack Molding, as associate program manager. He has a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Rochester.
  • Michael Begg, former mechanical engineer at Prion Manufacturing in Oakdale, PA, as quality engineer. He holds has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.
  • Chris Dussault, former engineer at MHPRO Engineering in Clifton Park, NY, as manufacturing engineer. He earned a bachelor's degree from Lyndon State College.
  • Connor Melvin, former associate mechanical engineer at Collins Aerospace in Binghamton, NY, as manufacturing engineer. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
  • David Seals, former painter, machinist, assembler and drafter at Baker Oil Tools in Tulsa, OK, as manufacturing engineering at Mack’s Inman, SC, facility. He has a bachelor's degree in operations management from Southern New Hampshire University.
  • Hunter Tyminski, former industrial engineer at Ace Hardware in Gansevoort, NY, as manufacturing engineer. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University at Buffalo.
  • Steve Meyerink, former program manager at United Tool & Mold in Greenville, SC, as tooling engineer at Mack's Inman, SC, facility.
  • Matthew Woodard, former process engineer for CY Plastics in Honeoye, NY, as Tool design engineer. Woodard is experienced in process engineering, quality engineering and production. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
  • Gary Guerin, former senior process engineer at Albea in Thomaston, CT, as process engineer at Mack’s Cavendish facility. He served in the US Marine Corps and has an associate degree from Northwestern Connecticut Community college.
  • Taylor Brandt, former public health sanitarian for the New York Department of Health, as quality engineer. He has bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta.
  • Elisha Rogers, former quality manager at Kaman Composites in Bennington, as quality engineer.
  • Caleb White, former intern at Integrity Integration in West Lebanon, NH, as manufacturing and quality engineer at Mack’s Cavendish facility. He holds a bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering technology from Vermont Technical College.
  • Kelsey Ernest, former shipper/receiver at Mack headquarters, as sales service representative.
  • Shannon McDermott, former owner and operator of Divine Spirit in Sandgate, as sales service representative.
