Shems Dunkiel Raubvogel & Saunders is pleased to announce that Jessica A. Oski has become Of Counsel to the firm. Jessica joined SDRS in 2010 to continue her practice in the field of health care law, including regulatory and corporate compliance, provider reimbursement, privacy and security, human resources and governmental relations. Her practice at SDRS will also include general business, corporate, not-for-profit and municipal counsel.

Before joining SDRS, Jessica worked on health care legal and public policy issues as an Assistant Attorney General for the Vermont Department of Mental Health (2006 – 2010). Prior to that, Jessica managed public policy and government relations in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (2001-2006). As an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Burlington (1995 – 2001), Jessica handled a wide variety of municipal law matters including zoning appeals, ordinance enforcement, property tax appeals and inter-government relations. Jessica graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Environmental Studies and Secondary Education (1986), and received a J.D. cum laude from Vermont Law School (1992). Jessica has served on the boards of numerous state and local organizations including CarShare Vermont, ECHO at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, VPIRG, the Vermont chapter of The Nature Conservancy, and the Burlington Public Works Commission.
