Lauren-Glenn Davitian Receives NTEN Lifetime Achievement Award

CCTV Center for Media & Democracy, a community media and free speech organization that operates Channel 17/Town Meeting Television, CCTV Productions and Common Good Vermont announces that Executive Director, Lauren-Glenn Davitian received the Nonprofit Technology Network's (NTEN) Lifetime Achievement Award at their April 2013 NTC Conference in Minneapolis.

Each year, NTEN honors an individual who has been instrumental in shaping the field of nonprofit technology. Past winners have had a hand in creating and funding the sector's most innovative organizations and in building nonprofit technology communities large and small.

Lauren-Glenn's work on the board of NTEN, as a founder of CCTV, Channel 17/ Town Meeting TV, and most, recently, Common Good Vermont, adds her to the ranks of NTEN's luminaries, including Tech Soup Global Founder Daniel Ben Horin and the late-great technology innovator, Rob Stuart.

Upon accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award, Lauren-Glenn noted:

"Together, we are a network of people committed to making change happen and smart enough to understand the immense opportunities presented by the tools of the digital age. We are here because we are curious and humble enough to realize that there is always more for us to learn and understand, to help us make a bigger difference."
