The Lake Monsters has announced the additions of two new staff members, Kali Ackerman as the Box Office Manager, and Zach Betkowski, as the Director of Promotions and Community Relations.
Ackerman, a 2013 UMass-Amherst grad, joins the Lake Monsters after spending the 2014 season with the Battle Creek Bombers of the Northwoods League, and most recently, the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.
Betkowski joins the team after spending the 2014 season as the General Manager of the Cortland Crushers, of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. Betkowski is a 2014 graduate of SUNY-Cortland.
"The Lake Monsters are very excited to have some fresh energy in the organization," says General Manager Joe Doud. "Both Kali and Zach have already established themselves in the sporting industry and we are excited to bring their careers to the next level."
