The Lake Champlain Chamber has presented Sophie Owen Jankowski, director of operations and technology at the commercial real estate agency Redstone, with its 2025 Emerging Leader Award for her “exceptional professional achievements and outstanding community leadership.” The presentation was made at the chamber's 114th annual gala April 10 at Hula in Burlington.
Over the past several years, Owen Jankowski has developed her leadership skills and technical expertise in property management, supported by opportunities like Leadership Champlain and industry conferences. She also chairs the Burlington Young Professionals Advisory Board, where she recently helped launch BYP Reads, a professional-development book club
“Leadership is not about being in charge; it’s about empowering others to succeed,” said Owen Jankowski. “I am truly honored to receive this award, which reflects the unwavering support, trust and dedication of the people who have shaped my journey.”
