People’s United Bank recently announced that Iona Kemp has joined the Business Banking Team as Business Banker and Vice President. Kemp will work with existing and new business clients to bring them value-added solutions for their financial needs. Kemp will work with business owners in Barre, Montpelier, Waitsfield and Stowe.
Kemp has an extensive career in banking. She joined People’s United Bank in 1984, and held several positions including Lead Service Representative in Montpelier, Financial Service Representative in Stowe, Market Manager in Waterbury, Financial Services Manager in Waitsfield and Financial Services Manager in Barre.
Kemp holds a degree from Champlain College in Accounting. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity, is active in Revitalizing Waterbury, and is a Paul Harris Fellow in the International Rotary Society.
