Facey Goss & McPhee PC is proud to announce two new Shareholders

The Rutland law firm of Facey Goss & McPhee PC is proud to announce that Christopher W Blanchard and Heather Z Cooper have become Shareholders in the firm as of January 2018. Chris has been with the firm since 2008. His primary practice is in the area of commercial and residential real estate transactions and litigation, business and construction law, common interest communities, municipal law and civil litigation. Prior to coming to the firm, Chris worked as a contract attorney at Goodwin Procter, LLP in Boston. While attending law school he interned with the City of Boston Law Department. Chris received his JD from The New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 2005. He currently resides in Mendon with his wife and two children.

Heather has been with the firm since 2006 and is part of the litigation practice group. Her relevant experience in commercial litigation includes employment matters, contract negotiation and litigation, collective bargaining arbitration, fiduciary obligations, technology related issues, collections, lender liability, foreclosure, bankruptcy, bankruptcy-related litigation, debt restructuring, construction, insurance coverage and professional malpractice defense. She is a Board Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist by the American Board of Certification. Prior to coming to the firm, Heather served as a law clerk to the Honorable Colleen A Brown, the United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Vermont, and actively practiced in Houston, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts. Heather received her JD from South Texas College of Law, Magna Cum Laude. She currently resides in Rutland with her husband, David and two children.
