Dikeman joins The Bank of Bennington as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer

Scott Dikeman of Rutland, VT has joined The Bank of Bennington as a Vice President in the Commercial Lending department. He will work with business customers out of the Rutland office on Woodstock Ave. “We are delighted to welcome Scott to The Bank of Bennington. He brings a valuable combination of keen knowledge about the Rutland business community, and long commercial banking experience,” said Dave Bardin, Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending for the bank.

Dikeman began his banking career in 1985 at the Marble Bank in Rutland. He continued in banking as a commercial lender for 30 years, also working at Factory Point Bank and Merchants Bank. In 2009, he joined Castleton State College, now Castleton University, as a senior administrator, eventually becoming Dean of Administration.

He has served on local boards of directors, including Rutland Mental Health, the Rutland Economic Development Corp, and Rutland Public Schools. He lives in Rutland with his wife Jackie and children Jonathan and Logan.
