Rehabilitation Therapy at the University of Vermont Medical Center is excited to announce that Ashley Couture MS, CCC-SLP has recently accepted the position of Therapy Research Educator. Ashley has been with the organization since 1998, initially in the role of staff speech-language pathologist, and more recently has served in the role of Clinical Lead for Speech Language Pathology and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Vermont. Ashley is a longtime advocate for the unique needs of each patient, has a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a strong drive to promote evidence in practice. She has begun transitioning to her new role and will be fully in place as a Therapy Research Educator in the department by June 1st.
The University of Vermont Medical Center is proud to announce that Kerry Wood, PT, DPT was presented with the Health Policy and Administration (HPA) Outstanding Service Award at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in February 2018 in New Orleans, LA. Kerry currently works for the Acute Care Therapy department at the UVM Medical Center main campus.
