Community College of Vermont has announced that associate dean for human and administrative resources Lisa Yaeger was nominated and endorsed to be the At Large member of the Eastern Region Board of CUPA-HR (Colleges and Universities Professional Association – Human Resources). As an At Large member, Yaeger will play a role in engaging new member schools and professionals communicating national office initiatives to her local CUPA-HR chapter as well as the region and assist in coordinating the annual regional conference.
“Lisa’s expertise in human resources and her prior work for her local chapter and in our region will make her an excellent resource and asset to the board. We look forward to her contributions to the region and to CUPA-HR,” said John Martin, chair of CUPA-HR’s Eastern Region Board.
As the association for HR professionals in higher education, CUPA-HR provides leadership on higher education workplace issues in the U.S. and abroad. With more than 18,000 members at over 1,900 organizations, the association monitors trends, explores emerging workforce, legislative and compliance issues that impact the higher ed workplace, conducts critical research and promotes strategic discussions among colleges and universities.
