Community Bank NA welcomes commercial banking officer

Community Bank NA is pleased to announce Joyce Werzer has joined its New England Commercial Lending team as vice president, commercial banking officer. Werzer brings to the team 30 years of experience in the financial industry.

In her new role, Werzer will be responsible for managing new business with present and prospective commercial customers, as well as maintaining current customer relationships. In addition, she will generate new loans and deposits for the bank.

Werzer joins the Community Bank NA team from Legacy Bank of Florida, where she served as senior vice president, commercial lending officer responsible for new business development and relationship management with focus on commercial lending. Prior, she spent 21 years with Suntrust Bank.

Werzer earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Florida Atlantic University and is a Leadership Broward program graduate. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and a longtime member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. In addition, Werzer spent 21 years as a member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties, most recently as a member of the Board of Directors and secretary of the South Florida chapter. She resides in Williston.
