Colleen Horan, MD, MPH joins Central Vermont Women’s Health

Colleen Horan, MD recently joined Central Vermont Women’s Health in Medical Office Building A, attached to the hospital. She is also seeing patients at their new office at Waterbury Medical Associates on South Main Street in Waterbury.

Dr. Horan joins Roger Ehret, MD, Sheila Glaess, MD, Roger Knowlton, DO, Julie Vogel, MD, Gail Yanowitch, MD and Rebecca Montgomery, CNM, MSN and Chris Malcolm, CNM, FNP.

Dr. Horan did her undergraduate work at Boston College where she earned her BS in Biology, magna cum laude. She attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University and received her Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Jefferson College of Graduate Studies in Philadelphia. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Horan is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Horan and her husband had just returned from a trip around the world, visiting 22 countries, when she accepted a three month position at CVMC and then decided to stay. "I enjoy the natural beauty of Vermont, which is as beautiful as any other place that I've visited in the world. "
