Rick Milliken, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Burlington has announced the promotion of Jennifer Bober from Guest Services Manager to catering sales manager. She is responsible for booking and overseeing arrangements and food service for weddings, social events and corporate meetings.
Bober joined the hotel in 2007 as a Guest Service Agent and was promoted to sales and catering coordinator in 2008. Other duties included managing the hotels social media, vanity website, participation in the rebranding of the hotel’s name and Hilton logo and served as president of the hotel’s national award-winning CARE Committee and the Green Team. She received the 2011 Employee of the Year award.
Bober received her Bachelor of Science degree in management from Western New England University. She volunteers with Spectrum Youth Services, COTS, and organizes the hotel’s shampoo donation program for several community groups. She received the South Burlington Rotary Club’s Exemplary Employee Award in 2009 and was nominated for Vermont Business Magazine’s “rising star” award.
