Berkshire Bank, a community bank with branch locations in New England and New York, announced the hiring of two new specialists to the wealth management team. John Haley has been named senior vice president for client experience and business administration, and Anthony Segala was appointed vice president and relationship manager.
“With more than 40 years’ collective experience at market leading investment firms, John and Anthony bring tremendous expertise to support Berkshire’s clients, while positioning the bank to drive long-term growth in the wealth management division,” said Kathryn Hersey, senior vice president, director of wealth management and chief investment officer.
Haley, former head of client administration for Wells Fargo Asset Management, brings over 25 years' experience at financial firms focused on client service, technology adoption and operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving innovation in supporting the business process and technology to enhance the overall client experience at Berkshire. He is a graduate of Providence College and holds a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University
Segala, former vice president and regional director for the western region at Congress Asset Management, joins Berkshire with a background from leading financial firms including Putnam Investments, Pioneer Investments and Fidelity Investments. He will apply his extensive knowledge of capital markets, investments, asset allocation and charitable-planning strategies to guide business development to support client relationship management. Segala is a graduate of Connecticut College and holds the chartered adviser in philanthropy designation.
