AllEarth Renewables has announced the recent hiring of Jack Nichol, as electronics technician, and George Shelley, as programmer.Both Nichol and Shelley come to AllEarth with extensive experience in their technical fields.Nichol, of Burlington, is a former U.S. Marine where he served as an avionics technician during two tours of duty in Iraq. He comes to AllEarth from UTC Aerospace Systems, where he maintained radio, navigation and display systems for aircrafts and also instrumentation for commercial and military applications. Nichol is completing his Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Vermont Technical College.Shelley, also of Burlington, comes to AllEarth from AllScripts of South Burlington, where he worked as a software engineer for electronic healthcare records. Prior to that, Shelley was a software engineer with IBM in Essex. He has a BS in mechanical engineering from Norwich University.
AllEarth Renewables, of Williston, Vermont, manufactures the AllSun Tracker, a dual-axis solar tracker that uses innovative GPS and wireless technology to follow the sun throughout the day, producing up to 45 percent more energy than rooftop solar.
