The American Red Cross New Hampshire & Vermont Region is pleased to announce that Roxanne Benzel has been awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence by the American Red Cross. Benzel is one of 25 stellar American Red Cross volunteers and employees to be selected, and she will be honored at the Annual National Awards Recognition Dinner on March 27 in Washington, DC.

ReArch Company is delighted to announce that Stephen Savell has been named the first Chief Operating Officer as of February 1, 2019. He was promoted from Vice President of Development, where he had helped to double the size of the company, since joining ReArch, almost three years ago.

Janette K Bombardier, PE, has been named Vermont’s 2019 Engineer of the Year. Ms. Bombardier is Chief Technology Officer of Chroma Technology located in Rockingham, VT. Ms Bombardier was selected for this award based on her technical accomplishments, stature in the profession, contributions to professional organizations, and involvement in the community.

Christopher Gendron, PE, has been named Vermont’s 2019 Young Engineer of the Year. Mr Gendron was selected for this award based on his educational achievements, professional society activities, professional accomplishments, and civic involvement. Mr Gendron graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering cum laude from Norwich University in 2010.

NPI Technology Management announces that Ellen Lambert has joined the company. As a member of the Canopy Team, she provides IT support to our clients. She comes to NPI with seven years of experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR) support and design as well as general technical assistance at a large healthcare organization.

University of Vermont president Tom Sullivan will be the 2019 annual honoree of the Vermont Council of World Affairs. Sullivan will be honored at the organization’s 2019 annual dinner on June 13.

When Maia Segura ’91 completed her Plan in international studies, political science, and sociology, focusing on the environmental movement in Tasmania, she could never have predicted the string of jobs that would one day bring her back to Marlboro College.

Andrea Gunther has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as an Accountant. Andrea graduated from Champlain College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Community College of Vermont (CCV) student Sandy Sherman received a $2,500 medical assisting scholarship from the Brattleboro Rotary Club Gateway Foundation at a February 7th award ceremony at CCV’s Brattleboro academic center. Sherman is the fifth recipient of the Jesse M Corum IV Scholarship.

The UVM Health Network is pleased to announce board member and Montpelier resident Mike Dellipriscoli has joined the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Council for Small or Rural Hospitals. “I am honored to serve on this council and share the important perspective of our region with colleagues across the country at this important time in health care,” said Dellipriscoli.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) held its annual Employee Recognition event in January to honor individuals for outstanding service to their workplace, fellow employees and home communities. Don George, president and CEO of BCBSVT, announced the honorees for 2018 at a gathering of BCBSVT’s employees at the Berlin headquarters.
