On May 10, 2021, Administration Secretary Susanne Young announced the retirement of Susan A. Zeller (Sue), Chief Performance Officer for the State of Vermont.

The employee-owners of PC Construction announced today that Maureen Usifer of Colchester, Vermont, has been elected to the company’s six-member Board of Directors. Usifer is the first woman to join the board, and her election marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

On May 4th, the Burlington Board of School Commissioners unanimously approved the appointment of Lauren McBride to the role of Principal of Burlington High School (BHS) beginning July 1, 2021. McBride was chosen for the position after a national search yielded a pool of 19 qualified candidates from nine states and two countries.
