The winners of the 2021 Vermont Writers’ Prize are Lindsay Knowlton of Glover for poetry and Douglas Robert Boardman Jr. of Johnson for prose. Each winner receives $1,500 and their works appear in the summer issue of VERMONT Magazine, which is available now.

Joanna L Nagle, 27, of Colchester, Vermont, has been crowned Miss Vermont USA 2021, and Jamisyn Baker, 15, of Rutland was crowned Miss Vermont Teen USA 2021. The coronations took place at The Spruce Peak Arts Center in Stowe, VT on Sunday June 6, 2021.
