Green Mountain College welcomes Robert J. Gould of Albany,

N.Y. as the College's new vice president for enrollment management.

Gould has served in a variety of higher education leadership roles for

19 years, most recently as vice president of finance (CFO) and

administrative operations at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health

A Vermont native with more than 25 years of certified

nurse-midwifery experience has returned to the Green Mountain State and

joined Gifford Medical Center in Randolph.

Certified nurse-midwife Donna Butler grew up in East Montpelier, attending

Montpelier High School and then the “new” U-32 high school when it opened

Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Cornell University. She also received her Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University.

Cara Collins has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as an Associate Accountant. Cara is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing her CPA. Her prior experience includes public accounting as well as professional support for the Women Business Network throughout Vermont.

Directors of the Southern Vermont Health Services Corporation (SVHSC) and Brattleboro Memorial Hospital recently welcomed Deborah Boyle to serve on the board. Boyle grew up in Brattleboro and was actually born at BMH.

James Mount, Chief Operating Officer of Mount Family Group Ltd has named

Alison Davis as the manager of the company’s Westaff branch in

Burlington.

Davis, who lives in Burlington, is a graduate of Keene State College in

Keene, NH and has been an employee of the Westaff branch in Burlington

Ruth Dinerman has joined the staff at Yestermorrow Design/Build School

in Warren, VT as the organization’s first Development Director. Ruth

holds a BA from Oberlin College and an MFA in fiction from Brooklyn

College, City University of New York. She comes to Yestermorrow by a

circuitous route that’s taken her to various places in the Midwest, New

Staff from CVMC Hospital and Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing recently

completed a six week course to improve their understanding and practice of

the culinary arts. New CVMC graduates of the New England Culinary Institute

received a message that the State Board of Nursing was on the phone. On her

way to the phone she couldn’t help wondering what she had done. As it turns

out, the caller was from the New Hampshire Nursing Association announcing

Brooke Mossman, M.S.'70, Ph.D.'77, University of Vermont

professor emerita of pathology, received the 2010 Graduate Alumni Award

during the Graduate Student Research Day held October 14 at the College of

Medicine. The award recognizes alumni from the College's Ph.D. or M.S.

programs who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in basic, clinical or
