Leonine Public Affairs, Vermont’s largest government relations and strategic communications firm, announced today the addition of Maggie Lenz to its team. Lenz, an experienced lobbyist and political organizer, will be joining Leonine’s public affairs group in Vermont, which provides lobbying and strategic communications services to both in-state and national clients.

The Vermont Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Sarah Waring has been hired as its vice president for grants and community investments and will join the Foundation at the end of December. Waring will lead the team responsible for the Community Foundation’s grantmaking programs, community engagement efforts, and Vermont-based mission investments.

Election as an AAAS Fellow is an honor bestowed upon AAAS members by their peers.

Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) will honor Rep Tom Stevens, D-Waterbury, at a legislative breakfast next week for his work to raise the state’s minimum wage and establish a paid family leave system in Vermont. VBSR is a business association with close to 700 members who advocate for policies which support workers, our communities and the environment.
