The Vermont Association of Hospitals and Health Systems (VAHHS) today announced Steven R. Gordon, President and CEO at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) will serve as chair of the board for the organization. VAHHS is the statewide advocacy association representing all of Vermont’s non-profit hospitals and health systems. Gordon has served as President and CEO of BMH since 2011.

With over 30 years of office and field experience, Armand oversees all aspects of a project from start to finish including, estimating, project planning, bidding, budget control, and scheduling.
Rutland Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Andrew P. DeNicco, MD to our Hospital Medicine team. Dr. DeNicco received his Medical Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is board-certified in internal medicine and completed his internship and residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami Florida.
The Riverside School began the 2019-20 school year by welcoming 107 students in Pre K – 8th grade from 16 towns and villages including Albany, Barnet, Danville, East Burke, East Haven, Guildhall, Kirby, Lyndonville, McIndoes Falls, Newark, Peacham, St. Johnsbury, Westmore, West Burke, West Glover and Wheelock. Riverside also welcomed two new members to the faculty.

The Agency of Education is pleased to announce that Elisabeth Kahn, a French and Spanish teacher at Main Street Middle School in Montpelier, is the 2020 Vermont Teacher of the Year. Ms Kahn’s selection was announced at an all-school assembly at the school. Kahn will begin her tenure as Vermont Teacher of the Year on Jan 1, 2020.
