The American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL) has announced that Southwestern Vermont Medical Center’s (SVMC) Katharine Green, BSN, RN, has been selected, from a large pool of nursing nominees under age 40, as an AONL Young Professional Voice.

Vermont Public Radio has hired Marlon Hyde as its first News Fellow, the station recently announced. Marlon Hyde is graduating from Saint Michael’s College this spring with a degree in media studies, journalism and digital arts. Originally from Queens, New York, he comes from a family of storytellers.

Elizabeth R Wohl rejoined the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC. Elizabeth will practice Health Law from the firm’s Brattleboro office.

Turtle Fur has had a stake hold in the outdoor headwear and accessories business for 39 years. Owner Richard Sontag has developed a strong team to help move the company forward. Two of those employees, Colin Giblin of Providence, RI and Meghan Ksiazek of Waterville, VT, have recently been promoted to the position of Vice President.

Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice (CVHHH) announces the hiring of Trisha Hunt and Aimil Parmelee, both Central Vermonters. Trisha Hunt joined CVHHH at the end of 2020 as Data Analyst. Aimil Parmelee, Occupational Therapist (OT), assumed the role of Complex Care Coordinator last fall.

The Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC) Foundation has appointed several local community members to lead its Annual Fund as co-vice chairs. They include Nancy Kimball of Manchester Center; Keith Michl, MD, of Dorset; Leslie Morgenthal of Pownal; and Marv Neuman of West Dover. Michael McKenna of Bennington was chosen to chair the fund last November.

Northwestern Medical Center (NMC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Stephanie Breault, CPA, to the role of Chief Financial Officer. Breault has served on NMC’s Finance staff since 2006, including 14 years as NMC’s Director of Finance and her most recent service as Interim Chief Financial Officer.
